What is the difference between your chilled/frozen and ambient broths?
Chilled/frozen broths have slightly higher nutritional content and use frozen pouches, ideal if freezer space is available. Ambient broths are cooked slightly longer, are shelf-stable for pantry storage in jars, and are great for convenience or gifting. Both are highly nutritious.
How long do the broths last? (Shelf life & after opening)
Ambient: Check jar best before date (often months); refrigerate after opening and consume within 5 days. Chilled/Frozen: Arrive frozen, keep frozen for up to 12 months; once defrosted, refrigerate and use within 7 days.
What are the delivery costs and timings?
Delivery costs depend on the order value (£5.99 for under £40, free over £40). Orders placed before 12pm Mon-Thurs are usually delivered next day via DPD, who provide tracking and a 1-hour window. Orders after 12pm Thursday ship the following Monday (excluding bank holidays). Note: This info might change, always best to check their dedicated shipping page.
How will my frozen/chilled items arrive?
Chilled/frozen items are shipped in insulated packaging (Woolcool) with ice packs to maintain temperature during transit, ensuring they arrive safely chilled or frozen.
What is the difference between Collagen and Gelatine?
Both come from the same source but are processed differently. Collagen Peptides dissolve easily in hot or cold liquids and don't gel. Gelatine gels when cooled and is used for making jellies, gummies, or thickening sauces. Both support similar benefits (skin, joints, gut).
Are your products organic?
Yes, Ossa Organic is certified Organic by the Soil Association. All ingredients are organic unless explicitly stated otherwise (like wild game, which cannot be certified organic). They prioritise high animal welfare standards (grass-fed beef/lamb, free-range chicken).

I love Ossa organic products, good customer service and fast delivery. Their Collagen powder is a must have- its great as it doesnt taste of anything, i mix it with my coffee every morning, can even mix it towards your foods ie pancakes batter, shakes or soups.
